Welcome to Nellie Gail Ranch. Located on 1350 acres in the City of Laguna Hills, Nellie Gail Ranch is a contrast to the higher density neighborhoods that surround it. A Planned Unit Development of 1407 lots, it is a mixture of tract and custom homes on large lots in an equestrian setting, with homes ranging from 1,700 to 10,000 square feet. The rolling hill lots offer views from ocean to mountains.
 
Developed in the 1970's and 80's, by the Presley Company, the Nellie Gail Ranch Owners Association was incorporated in 1976, to administer the common areas and enforce the recorded covenants. The Ranch is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, elected annually. The Association has an on-site manager and limited staff, with most services provided by independent contractors. The Owners Association maintains five parks, 20 miles of equestrian trails and 5 community arenas, as well as substantial open space with thousands of trees.
 
In 1987, the Association purchased the Nellie Gail Ranch Equestrian Center and the Nellie Gail Ranch Tennis & Swim Clubs. The Equestrian Center contains 92 stalls with three arenas, and has world class training available. The Swim Center includes a Junior Olympic pool with recreational and swim team training. The Tennis Center has twelve lighted courts, with professional instructors and a variety of classes available. Although owned and operated by Nellie Gail Ranch Owners Association, the Equestrian, Tennis & Swim Centers are open to non Ranch residents with reduced fees to Ranch lot owners.
