| Neighborhood Holiday Lighting 2009 - 12/18/2009 | | One of the greatest traditions in Orange County is bearing witness to the fabulous homeowner displays of holiday lights and decor in Nellie Gail Ranch. The 2009 season brought back familiar old favorites and some spectacular new displays, most notably the jaw-dropping musical orchestration created by the Blount Family of 25473 Nellie Gail Road. This incredible spectacle of dancing lights is choreographed to 20 songs broadcast locally on 107.7fm radio. Check out their website at www.nelliegaillights.com, where you can see a live video of a song in action. You have to see it in person to fully appreciate the engineering marvel! That goes for all the photos below, capturing some of the highlights of the season but so much better appreciated live and in person. Take a few moments and plop the family in the car to drive around the neighborhood! Thank you to all the wonderful homeowners who do such a fabulous job of beautifying our community. Many kudos and Merry Christmas!! |

Cars for Fun wants to thank all the drivers, their families and neighbors that showed up for this years car show, as well as those that volunteered their time to gather and serve the food, sell the tickets and organize this (somewhat) annual event, and to the Association for picking up the food tab. The variety of cars and good folk are what draws so many to this fun event.
A special thanks to the Winner of the Mothers Against Drunk Drivers 50/50 Drawing, Tim Bryant, who not only bought his tickets but also donated his winnings back, for a total of $644. THANKS Tim! Also a big thanks to the Mudd & Brockmiller families for organizing this great event!
...see you next year."
