Formation of Historical Committee
At the January 16th meeting the Board approved formation of a Historical Committee pending applications and February 20, 2024 appointment.  As Nellie Gail Ranch moves into its 48th year we want to gather  information and details on Nellie Gail Ranch milestones and significant events.  When was the first home built, what did Nellie Gail Ranch look like at the start of 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010 and 2020?  Can we capture some living history interviews with some of our original homeowners?  The opportunities are endless for volunteers interested in digging into our Nellie Gail Ranch heritage.  A potential outcome of the Committee may be a community presentation and/or photo collection.  If you are interested in volunteering for the Historical Committee please return an application by clicking the button below.

Live Music Fridays
Join us January 26th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm for the enchanting melodies of the Two for the Show Duo at The Watering Hole. It’s an event you won’t want to miss. See you there for a night of live music.
Laguna Hills City Traffic Commission
The City Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, will be conducting interviews to fill a vacancy on the City’s Traffic Commission for a partial term ending on January 31, 2027. Your participation in local government is encouraged, and if you are interested in applying please click the button below for more information.

Live Music Fridays
Live music returns to The Watering Hole Friday January 26th, Friday February 2nd and Friday February 9th from 6:30 PM to 9:30pm. Two For The Show will be taking the stage January 26th. Come join us for a rocking good time! More details to come soon.

New Year’s Holiday Hours
The Nellie Gail Ranch Owners Association office will be closed on Friday, December 29th and Monday, January 1st in observance of the New Years holiday.
The Tennis & Swim Club will close at 5:00pm on Sunday, December 31st and closed all-day Monday, January 1st.
The Watering Hole Restaurant closes at 10:00pm on New Year’s Eve – Sunday, December 31st and closed all-day Monday, January 1st.
Holiday Pickleball Event
The Holiday Pickleball Round Robin event took place on Sunday, December 17, 2023. There were a total of 64 players of all skill levels. The event was followed by a social mixer in the Watering Hole Restaurant.
Tournament winners were awarded and all players were encouraged to participate in a best holiday attire contest. A fun time was had by all and more social events are planned for 2024!

Nellie Gail Ranch Holiday Decorations Tour
Congratulations to our 2023 Holiday Decorating Contest Winners!
We had forty-five entries and it was a difficult but festive task for our participating sponsor, the Brad Feldman Group,  and the Events Committee to select “winners”.  In the end we are all winners for the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful displays in our community! 
Join us in celebrating the holiday season by taking a drive around the neighborhood to view the festive decorations. A big thank you to the Brad Feldman Group for creating a map of this year’s participants. We would also like to acknowledge Jeff Baize, an NGR homeowner, for identifying the winners in red. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season!

44 Homeowners illuminated the holiday season with their dazzling displays in the home light decorating competition. From twinkling lights to festive arrangements, each participant brought a unique touch to their homes, spreading joy and cheer.
