Holiday Hours of Operations

Hours of Operation The Nellie Gail Ranch Owners Association office will be closedon Wednesday, January 1st in observance of the New Years holiday. The Tennis & Swim Club will close at 4:00pm on Tuesday,December 31st and will be closed all-day Wednesday, January 1st. The Watering Hole Restaurant closes at 10:00pm on New Year’s Eve – Tuesday, December 31st and will be closed all-day Wednesday, January 1st.

Sweetwater Trail Drainage Renovation

Sweetwater Trail is open for equestrian and hiking purposes.  New underground drainage will move runoff and natural spring seepage off the trail making it more rideable and hikeable following rains.  Come on out and enjoy this trail which is one the nicest among Nellie Gail Ranch’s over 25 miles of trails!

Holiday Home Decoration Contestant Map

Trail Closure

The Sweetwater trail, between Oso Parkway and Nellie Gail Road, will be closed to all trail users starting Monday, December 16, 2024 until approximately Friday, December 20, 2024 for trail renovations. See image below with the affected trail hi-lighted in yellow. Special arrangements can be made in advance for hay deliveries, farrier access or emergency access. Please contact the Association office if you require access during this trail closure.

Compost Giveaway Event

Join us for a special event at Laguna Hills Mall, located next to Pumpkin City, where we’ll be giving away free compost to help enrich your garden and plants! Supplies are limited, so be sure to arrive early to claim your Free Compost—available while supplies last.

Large Animal EvacuationEmergency Contact List

One of the lessons learned in the recent Airport Fire is the importance of having a plan in place for potential evacuation of your large animals equine and other.  During the Airport Fire we were on the receiving end of a number of calls from horse owners seeking shelter.  If you are ever in need of a place to go in event of an evacuation, a contact list will be invaluable in helping you make timely transportation and shelter plans.  At the recent Town Hall Meeting, Sr. Emergency Management Program Coordinator Alyssa Rabas provided this form to assist owners of horses and other large animals to create a contact list.  After you complete this form you may take a photo to keep in your phone and keep a hard copy in your car glove compartment and  home.

Happy Veterans Day

Veterans Day is dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served. It’s a time for our neighborhood to come together in gratitude and remembrance, paying tribute to the sacrifices our local veterans have made for our nation’s freedom.

The Watering Hole Restaurant will be closed for a private event tomorrow night, Saturday, November 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Looking for a place to host a private event, such as a birthday party, baby shower, bridal shower, or anniversary? The Watering Hole Restaurant/Clubhouse is available for rental to Nellie Gail Ranch homeowners and Club members.
