As Independence Day approaches, many of us are looking forward to poolsidegatherings, backyard barbecues, and festive celebrations. To help keep the daysafe and fun for everyone, here are a few reminders: FireworksFireworks can be hazardous when misused, and personal fireworks are not permitted in Laguna Hills. To ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday for all, the City of Laguna Hills is hosting its annual 4th of July celebration at the Community Center and Sports Complex. This family-friendly event features carnival rides, games, live music, food trucks, and concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:00 PM. Festivities begin in the afternoon. Grill SafetyKeep grills a safe distance from homes, fences, and trees. Never leave a grill unattended, and clean grease buildup before use to prevent flare-ups. Heat AwarenessTemperatures can rise quickly. Stay hydrated, encourage guests and pets to drinkwater, and take breaks in shaded areas when needed.
